Sivan Moor
Clinical Social Worker; Couples & Family Therapist
Languages: English, Hebrew
Areas of Speciality: I specialize in working with multicultural couples, particularly those with one partner from Israel and the other from a different cultural background. Additionally, I focus on young couples, both pre- and post-marriage, as they navigate the early stages of building a family. I also support individuals who wish to engage in personal development during their search for love and meaningful relationships.
Therapeutic Approach: In my work with couples, I employ a variety of techniques from different therapeutic approaches to create a customized process that addresses each couple's unique challenges. I incorporate methods such as Imago Therapy, mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and family systems therapy, among others.
My primary objective is to help both partners gain a deeper understanding of themselves and each other, thereby fostering a stronger and more conscious relationship. I believe that as each partner develops greater self-awareness, it becomes easier to take responsibility and initiate meaningful change within the relationship.
When working with individuals, we have the opportunity to explore in depth the specific changes each client wishes to make in their lives and identify any barriers preventing them from achieving their desired relationships. Our sessions focus on addressing limiting beliefs, exploring childhood trauma, and examining past relationships. Together, we work on enhancing self-worth, building confidence, and facilitating healing.
