In case of emergencies...

It's important for us to emphasize that we are not an emergency response service. Our therapists are private practitioners, and as such they are not equipped with the same resources as larger emergency response organizations. If you are in danger or need immediate assistance, please call 100 (police), 1201 (Iran - national suicide hotline), or your healthcare provider for clearance to arrive at the nearest emergency hospital.

Our Team

* All therapists at ADVAH are private practitioners

Languages: English

Areas of Focus: Building strength, nurturing a compassionate relationship with the self, navigating confusion, transitional life periods, anxiety, stress & burnout, understanding the desire for certainty & control, leaning into discomfort with patience, communication & relationships, physical health difficulties, and emotional processing.

Therapeutic approach: Utilising techniques from CBT /ACT, narrative therapy, compassion-focused therapy, psycho-education and mindfulness.

"Though we might internalise our experiences, and what is told to us by others, as the truth, our problems do not define us. Through curiosity and an openness to where conversation can lead, we work on building an alternative narrative enabling full, non-judgemental expression, and endless possibilities.”
